Upon booking you are agreeing to the below booking T&C’s.

How our pricing structure works

The tiered pricing reflects the education level of the stylist team, determined by training and practical experience.

At Coastal Blondes, we have;

Partner Stylists
Our partner stylists are seasoned salon owners with over 20 years of expertise. Masters of colour theory and hair health, they stay ahead of trends and are passionate about educating both clients and fellow stylists. Each consultation is in-depth, ensuring a personalised plan to achieve your dream hair. They also provide tailored home-care recommendations so your results last. Due to high demand, appointments are typically booked 2–3 months in advance.

Master Colourists
Our Master Colourists have been through our intensive Master Colourist Program at Coastal Blondes, this includes signature techniques and specialising in creating your perfect look. Passionate about colour, they offer personalised plans, expert recommendations, and tailored home-care routines to keep your hair healthy and vibrant. Renowned for delivering an exceptional salon experience, they’re highly sought after and always in demand.

Colourists
Trained in Coastal Blondes’ specialised techniques, our Colourists are passionate about achieving beautiful, personalised results. Using premium products, they focus on bringing your vision to life while keeping your hair healthy and vibrant. They’ll also recommend tailored home care to help you maintain salon-quality hair every day.

Junior Stylists
Our Junior Stylists are advanced apprentices in their final year of training, mentored directly by Coastal Blondes’ owners. Skilled in our specialised techniques and fundamentals, they deliver high-quality results with passion and care. Dedicated to your hair journey, they provide personalised home-care advice and a welcoming salon experience.

Hair Services Terms & Conditions 

Booking Fee & Booking Agreement

Our stylists will do everything possible to achieve your desired look based on consultation and reference photos. However, results may vary depending on your hair’s condition, history, and natural colour — so there are no guarantees. Inspiration photos are guides only, and refunds cannot be offered if the outcome matches the agreed plan or if you change your mind (see adjustments policy).

Bleaching – Even with the advanced products we use, bleach can cause dryness and damage. Following our aftercare advice is essential, as we cannot be responsible for damage if recommendations aren’t followed

A booking fee is required to secure your appointment via our Square link or online booking system. Once paid, you’ll receive confirmation. This fee is redeemable on the day of your appointment or can be kept on file for future bookings.

Cancellation/No Shows 

We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Less than 48 hours: deposit will be forfeited or a $100 fee must be paid before your next appointment.

  • Same-day cancellation: 50% of the appointment cost.

  • No-shows: Future bookings will be cancelled unless 50% of the missed appointment cost is paid.

Confirmations

Our system sends an email one week before your appointment and a text at the start of the week asking you to confirm via link. If we don’t hear back, you’ll receive another reminder, followed by a call.

Please respond — if there’s no confirmation within 48 hours of your appointment, it will be cancelled and a cancellation fee will apply.

We completely understand that plans change — simply reply to the reminder text or call us to cancel or reschedule. No explanation needed, just enough notice so we can offer your spot to someone else.

Saturday Surcharge 

A 10% surcharge applies to Saturday appointments due to staff shortages and rising costs. Saturdays also offer a calmer, quieter salon experience with fewer stylists — perfect if you prefer a more relaxed visit.

Hair Adjustments 

Coastal Blondes offers complimentary adjustments within one week of your appointment if you’re unhappy with your service. Adjustments must be discussed in person at the salon and carried out by the same stylist. They are not complimentary after one week, if it’s simply a change of mind, or if home-care advice hasn’t been followed. If you request another stylist, normal charges will apply.

Please note that if you leave the salon with wet hair, you forfeit the right to a complimentary adjustment, which is why we recommend a blow-dry to ensure you’re satisfied with your colour before leaving. Refunds are not offered; if you’re unhappy, you’ll need to return to the salon so we can assess your hair and determine the next steps.

Gift Vouchers

All gift voucher purchases are final and non-refundable. They cannot be exchanged for cash, even if credit remains after a service. Vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated, and can be used for any salon service or product unless marked as service-only. Please present your voucher at the time of your appointment or purchase, and note that lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment may result in the voucher being forfeited.Children

We kindly request that children 12months and older as well as any extras, do not accompany you to your appointment. This is to avoid any safety issues and to respect other guests in our space.
We will not be able to perform your service if this is the case.

Children

At Coastal Blondes, we want every client to enjoy a calm and comfortable experience. Due to limited space and seating, we kindly ask that children are not brought into the salon, unless they are under seven months old and able to remain with you during your appointment. This helps us maintain a safe, relaxed environment for both our clients and team while ensuring you receive our full attention.

 

Hair Extensions Terms & Conditions 

We want you to love your new hair and feel confident knowing exactly what to expect. These simple terms help us give you the best service and keep your extensions looking gorgeous.

1. Your Consultation

For the most accurate colour match and pricing, consultations must be done in person at the salon. We cannot give an exact quote or confirm a colour match online.

We’re happy to give recommendations over email (and we’ll do our best to guide you), but if you’d like to go ahead and book your fitting, you’ll need to come in for an in-salon consultation.

During your consultation, we’ll also talk through your desired look, check your scalp and hair health, and discuss any allergies, sensitivities, or medical treatments that could affect your hair.

2. Booking & Deposits

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your fitting appointment.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but can be moved once if you give at least 48 hours’ notice.

3. Cancellations & Appointment Arrival

  • Cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice or not turning up means your deposit will be lost.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to read through our “Dos and Don’ts” guide before your fitting. This ensures you know how to care for your new extensions from day one.

4. Payment

The balance is due on the day of your fitting. Hair extensions are a custom service, so we can’t offer refunds.

5. BYO (Bring Your Own) Hair Extensions

We’re happy to fit hair you’ve purchased elsewhere, but:

  • We cannot guarantee the quality, longevity, or performance of extensions not bought through us.

  • We take no responsibility for issues like slippage, shedding, matting, or premature wear if the hair quality is poor.

  • Our usual guarantees only apply to extensions purchased directly from us.

6. Aftercare & Maintenance = Longer-Lasting Hair

We’ll give you a full aftercare guide — following it keeps your extensions healthy and covered under our guarantee (if applicable). This includes:

  • Using the recommended brush and products.

  • Avoiding heat near bonds/tapes.

  • Coming back every 6–8 weeks for maintenance/refits for tapes and wefts and maintenance checks for Keratin Bonds.

Important: If you do not follow our refit and maintenance recommendations, this can cause damage to your natural hair. As the tape bonds degrade over time, extensions can become heavier on your hair, putting strain on your strands and scalp.
We are not responsible for any damage this may cause, and removal may be more difficult and take longer than usual in these cases.

7. Ownership & Client Responsibility

Once your hair extensions are fitted and you leave the salon, they become your property. You are fully responsible for looking after them according to our aftercare guidance.
In the rare event you believe there is a quality issue, the hair must be brought back into the salon for an in-person assessment. We cannot assess or confirm quality concerns from photos or descriptions alone.

8. Removals

Removals of any hair extensions are performed by a junior stylist to keep the cost down.
If you prefer a senior stylist, please let us know when booking — a higher fee will apply.

9. Our Guarantee

If you have any concerns (with hair purchased through us), let us know within 3 days of fitting. We’ll happily invite you back for a check-up and adjustment at no extra cost.

10. Things to Keep in Mind

Extensions are an investment — improper care (e.g. not brushing, using the wrong products, swimming without protection) can shorten their life. We can’t be responsible for issues caused by not following aftercare or maintenance schedules.

11. Photos

We love a transformation pic! We may take before/after photos for our portfolio — let us know if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
