The tiered pricing reflects the education level of the stylist team, determined by training and practical experience.
At Coastal Blondes we have;
Partner – Our partner stylists are the salon owners, boasting over 18 years of experience each in the hair industry. They have extensive knowledge of colour theory and the anatomy of hair and scalp. They are at the forefront of the latest trends and techniques, and have a passion for education for fellow stylist and clients. Consultations are thorough, analysing your hair and scalp to provide the best possible outcome. Working with you to create the best hair journey so you can get the hair of your dreams. They offer personalised home care prescriptions to ensure you get the most out of your hair at home. If your hair is your priority and you want expert care, be sure to book an appointment with a partner stylist. Booked out 2-3 months in advance.
Master Colourist – Our Master Colourists have undergone extensive training at Coastal Blondes in our specialised techniques. They live and breathe colour and are passionate about providing the perfect colour for you and providing suggestion and recommendations based on your hair. They will create a personalised hair journey plan and home care prescriptions to ensure your hair looks it’s best and stays healthy. They pride themselves on creating an exceptional experience for you during your visit to Coastal Blondes and leave feeling like a new woman. In high demand.
Colourist – Our Colourists have received specialised training at Coastal Blondes. They are passionate about hair colouring and dedicated to achieving the best results for their clients’ wants and needs. Using top-quality products, they ensure the best possible outcomes. Additionally, they can provide home care recommendations to keep your hair looking and feeling amazing at home.
Junior Stylist – Our Junior Stylists are third-year apprentices nearing the completion of their training. Having been mentored by the salon owners in all Coastal Blondes fundamentals and specialised techniques, you can be rest assured you’re in the safest hands. Trained by the best, their skills are reflected in their work. They are passionate and driven to provide the best for their clients’ hair, offering personalised home care recommendations and ensuring a great overall experience.
Booking Fee & Booking Agreement
Our stylists will make every effort to achieve the look you desire based on the consultation and any reference pictures provided. Please note that individual results may vary based on your hair’s condition, previous treatments, and natural hair colour. Inspiration pictures, are just that INSPIRATION.
Because of this refunds are not possible in situations where the result closely matches the agreed outcome or if you change your mind. Please refer to hair adjusments below.
Bleaching – you agree that bleaching causes dryness and damage to your hair. Although we use the most advanced products out there on the market, it is still bleach and if you do not follow our recommendations we are not accountable for any damage to your hair.
When booking an appointment at Coastal Blondes you are required to pay a BOOKING FEE via the email link we send out via our Square Link, or on our online booking system. Once we have received confirmation of the payment, your booking will be secured and a confirmation will be sent to you. The booking fee can be redeemed on the day of your appointment or can be kept on file to secure future appointments.
Cancellation/No Shows
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for ALL appointment rescheduling and cancellations. If you cancel or reschedule within the 48 hours you will incur a cancellation fee of $100 which will need to be paid before next appointment. If you cancel or reschedule on the day of the appointment you will incur a fee of 50% of the total cost of the original appointment.
Failing to show up to an appointment with no notice will result in all future appointments at Coastal Blondes being cancelled unless you pay 50% of the total cost of your missed scheduled appointment.
Confirmations
We send an email and text at the beginning of the week of your scheduled appointment which will require you to follow a link to confirm. If we do not hear from you, a further email or text will be sent out. If we still do not hear from you, we will call the number you provided us at your initial booking. If we have no response within 48 hours of your appointment, we will assume you are not coming and your appointment will be cancelled and a cancelation fee will apply.
These reminders ensure us that there is enough time to cancel/reschedule if you need to. We are so happy for you to cancel or reschedule as we understand that life happens and sometimes things don’t work out, but we ask that you respectfully give us enough notice to fill your appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment simply reply to the reminder texts or give us a call. You do not need to give us a reason as to why but please just let us know if you cannot make it anymore, we appreciate it more than you think!
Saturday Surcharge
Due to staff shortages on Saturdays and rising costs, we are implementing a 10% surcharge on all Saturday appointments. If you prefer a quieter, more tranquil space for your hair appointment, Saturdays are perfect for you! With fewer stylists, the salon offers a more serene and calming experience.
Hair Adjustments
Costal Blondes offers adjustments for a one week period following your appointment, on the unlikely occasion that you’re unhappy with your service with us.
Adjustments will not be complimentary if left longer than one week, a change of mind on what was discussed, or you are not following our maintenance home care advice. Adjustments must be provided by the same stylist, if another is requested, the full charge will apply.
If you leave the salon with wet hair you lose the right to a complimentary hair adjustment. We advise every client has their hair blow dried to ensure colour is to your satisfaction.
We do not issue refunds, in the rare case you are unhappy with your hair you must come into salon for us to assess your hair to determine what the next steps are.
Children
We kindly request that children 12months and older as well as any extras, do not accompany you to your appointment. This is to avoid any safety issues and to respect other guests in our space.
We will not be able to perform your service if this is the case.
