The frequency of touch-ups depends on the type of blonde you choose. For balayage or lived-in blonde looks, you may only need a refresh every 12 weeks, as these styles grow out more naturally. For full or root-to-tip blondes, touch-ups are generally needed every 6-8 weeks to keep your color vibrant and fresh.
Can I go blonde if I have dark or previously colored hair?
Yes, you can! However, going blonde from dark hair can take time, especially if you’ve previously colored it. Depending on your starting point, we may need to lighten your hair gradually over multiple sessions to avoid damage and achieve the perfect blonde. We recommend coming in for a strand test.
Why does my blonde fade yellow?
Blonde hair can sometimes take on a yellow or brassy tone as it fades, and this is a common issue. There are a few reasons why this happens;
– Oxidation – due to environmental factors like sun, swimming, and pollution
– Non professional hair care can create build up on the hair making it feel more yellow
– Hard Water, mineral build up can cause the hair to go brassy and brittle.
– Heat Styling, the heat can dry out your hair, stripping it of the cool undertones that help keep it looking fresh.
– Lack of toner, toners are a semi permanent colour so WILL fade, toners can last anything from 15-20 washes. This does not include swimming.

How long do hair extensions last?
Hair extensions typically last anywhere from 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of extension and how well they are maintained. Wefts and tape-ins generally need to be moved up every 5-7 weeks, and hair can last up to 12months. While Keratin Bonds hair cannot be reapplied so last anything from 3-6 months.
Can I still style my hair with extensions?
Absolutely! You can curl, straighten, and even blow-dry your hair as you would with your natural hair. Just be sure to use heat protectant products to keep both your natural hair and extensions healthy and avoid heat over 180 degrees. We also recommend using sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners to preserve the integrity of the extensions.
Will hair extensions damage my natural hair?
When applied and maintained properly, hair extensions shouldn’t damage your natural hair. We use safe, professional methods, and ensure that the extensions blend seamlessly and are not causing unnecessary tension. We’ll also provide you with aftercare instructions to ensure your hair stays healthy while wearing extensions.
Can I have my colour done with my hair extensions in?
Our recommendations are; Keratin Bonds, you can colour or highlight your own natural hair but not the hair that is attached to the extensions. Tapes and Wefts, we recommended having your colour done when you are due for your maintenance appointment to allow the perfect hair colour.
Do hair extensions look natural?
When applied correctly, hair extensions should blend perfectly with your natural hair, giving you a seamless, beautiful look. We use the highest quality hair and the most advanced application techniques to ensure that your extensions look as natural as possible.
How do I take care of my hair extensions?

We recommend using sulfate-free products, brushing your extensions gently with our recommended hair brush, and avoiding excess heat styling. You should also avoid using oily products near the roots, as they can affect the adhesive and cause the extensions to slip.
Can I swim with hair extensions?
Yes, but it’s important to take a few precautions. We recommend wearing a swim cap to protect your extensions from chlorine, saltwater, or any harsh pool chemicals. Always wash and condition your extensions thoroughly after swimming to prevent any buildup or damage and to dry them, do not let them dry naturally.
Can I remove my own extensions?
For the best results and to avoid damage, we recommend having a professional remove your extensions. Our team will ensure the removal is done safely and that your natural hair remains in excellent condition.
How do I book an appointment for hair extensions?

Can I colour my hair extensions?
DO NOT BLEACH hair extensions. Also it is not recommended to colour hair extensions as it gives an unpredictable result due to the hair potentially being from different donors this also includes purple shampoo. For best results, we can colour and tone the extensions for you to ensure a more even result and no damage to the hair.
