Keratin Bonds

Keratin Bond extensions are the most customisable option and provide the most natural-looking finish. The process involves attaching small, keratin-based bonds to your natural hair using a special heating tool, ensuring a secure and seamless blend. This method is perfect for adding volume, length, or filling in any gaps. It’s also our most popular method because it requires minimal salon maintenance—just periodic touch-ups every 3-6 months, making it incredibly convenient for busy lifestyles. With their lightweight, gentle hold, keratin bonds blend beautifully with your natural hair, giving you a flawless, long-lasting result.

Invisible Tape Hair Extensions

Weft Extensions

We use Classic Weft and Invisible Weft using our flat track method. Our method uses beads to secure the extensions, then we sew the weft onto your natural hair for a strong, secure hold. This technique gives you a fuller, more dramatic look with minimal discomfort and no visible tracks. With proper care, they’re a long lasting, low-maintenance option for a smooth, natural result. *NOTE – we recommend adding a few keratin bonds are the from to fill the gaps if needed.

Classic Weft

Machine Wefts are created by sewing bundles of hair together using a machine, resulting in a thicker, denser band of hair. This construction method makes machine wefts more durable and long-lasting, providing a secure hold. Machine wefts are ideal for clients with thicker hair or those looking for a more voluminous look, as they add significant fullness and length. With proper care, machine wefts can last for several months and are a great option for clients who want added volume without the need for frequent salon visits.

Hair Extensions Terms & Conditions

To ensure the best possible results and maintain the integrity of both your natural hair and your hair extensions, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before booking any extension service with us.

Deposits & Bookings

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure all hair extension appointments. This deposit goes toward your final service cost and confirms your commitment to the appointment.
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 72 hours’ notice may result in loss of deposit.

Hair Ownership, Care & Product Policy

Once hair extensions are installed, they are your property. You are responsible for following our strict homecare advice, which is essential to maintain the longevity and quality of your extensions.
Failure to follow aftercare recommendations can result in tangling, matting, breakage, premature shedding, colour fading, and dryness from excessive heat styling.
We strongly recommend using only salon-approved products and keeping heat tools at a safe temperature.

Hair Purchases & Refund Policy

Due to hygiene regulations, hair extension sales are final. Once hair has been purchased or installed, refunds or exchanges are not offered.
Please ensure you are confident with the selected colour and method at your consultation, as the client agrees to the colours and placement chosen prior to installation. Once the service is complete and the client has left the salon, the result is considered final.

Hair Not Purchased Through Coastal Blondes

● We can install extensions not purchased through us, however:

- This service is charged at a higher rate.
- We cannot guarantee the quality, colour match, blend, or longevity of the hair.
- We are not responsible for any performance issues or damage related to third-party hair.

Extension Removals

We are happy to remove existing extensions, even if not originally installed by us.
If there is matting, knotting, or excessive tangling, please be aware that additional charges may apply based on the time required and the condition of the hair.

Consultation & Colour Matching

● An in-person consultation is mandatory for all new extension clients.

- During this time, we will assess your natural hair, provide a personalised quote, and conduct a professional colour match.
- No extension service will proceed without a prior consultation.

Waiver & Agreement

● You are required to sign our Hair Extension Waiver and Agreement Form before installation.

● This confirms you have read and understood our aftercare instructions, maintenance schedule, and the conditions under which the service is provided.

Maintenance Schedule

To protect your natural hair and maximise the lifespan of your extensions:

Tape Extensions & Wefts require reapplication every 6–7 weeks. Delaying this can result in matting or damage to your natural hair.
Keratin Bonds require:
- A 2-week post-installation check to ensure they’re sitting correctly.
- A 12-week removal and/or reapplication, depending on your hair type and growth.
